Frequently Asked Questions  When's worship? We have 2 worship experiences each Sunday morning at 9:00AM and 10:30AM. What are your services like? At 9am our praise team leads us in a blend of regional music including gospel hymns, country, and bluegrass. You'll feel like you've come home and leave renewed and refreshed. At 10:30 our praise band plays contemporary popular music that will leave you invigorated and inspired, ready for another week. Both worship experiences feature relevant biblical teaching. Between the services, you are invited to our dining room to connect with others and enjoy a cup of juice, some hot coffee, fruit and pastries. How long are your services? Each service is about 1 hour. What should I wear? Feel free to wear whatever clothes make you feel most comfortable. Most people dress casually. Will I have to say anything, sign anything, or give anything? We want you to feel welcome at Willard UMC; rest assured that you won't be put on the spot or singled out. We do receive an offering in each worship experience to support our ministries, asking folks to give as they are able and feel led to do so. What about my kids? All of our children's and youth volunteers are trained and background checked. A staffed nursery is available each Sunday morning from 8:45-11:45 for ages birth -3 years. At our 9:00 am service, children may attend a Sunday School class for their age group. Greeters at our front door will take you to the appropriate class and to meet your child's teacher. Pre-K Worship (Ages 3-5) & Kids Worship (Ages K-4), are exciting and interactive worship experiences for kids offered during the 10:30 worship experience. Parents are always welcome to attend and observe any of our children's ministries. What about my preteens and teens? Sunday School classes are offered for 5-6 grades, 7-8 grades and 9-12 grades each Sunday @ 9:00 am. Our 5-6 grade group, C.H.A.O.S, meets monthly on Sunday evening. A variety of other activities, events and small groups are offered for youth.
